I'm fussing with how to interpret Marie Antoinette's Hamlet. Sometimes the magic of illustration is what you leave out. I tend to want to copy the real thing exactly but then I might as well just take a picture. I will probably move on to another page and come back when I have some clarity about it. I need to capture the magical quality of it. I will get it but I don't have it yet. Antoinette looks like she is swimming fast though which is what I was going for! This page is what I have been working on since 6am this morning. Except I took an hour to walk and do a little workout and I took a break for dinner. You would think it would be closer to finished wouldn't you??
